OMG... Just tried this place for the first time today. I've finally found the best banh mi in Portland!!! And..... It's only $5.50. I'll be back tomorrow, and probably the next day.. View all feedback.
What Marjen Jafarbay doesn't like about An Xuyên Bakery:
The pastries are pleasant, but the service was very much the opposite. The lady seemed extremely annoyed that we didn't walk in knowing what we wanted or that we were even there. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but she was pretty rude. View all feedback.
I only wish I had the money to try more things. I'm glad I'm close to an Asian bakery again as I really miss the Luck's Food that went out of business in Chicago. They do have the typical stuff I like to get even though I only noticed some of my staples after paying. Meat pie, cream bun and raspberry chocolate cupcake all extremely good and finally something to satisfy my sweet tooth!

The best bakery in town, best prices and pastries. I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise ?
If there is a zero review I would give them! I went into the bakery to buy my mom a desert that she like banh Bi . The lady was ringing my food up at the register and I asked her if she have small size banh mi. She said is in-front of you can see you it! This place have so many pastry and breads. Not sure where to look. She started to walk away and wash her hands. Didn 't want to sell me the food! rude! Their customer service is negative ZERO! The Second Lady came out I asked her to ring up my food. If it isn 't for my mom want Banh Bi I would leave right away! I will buy a different place for pastry! You just lost a customer!!!
This place is adorable and affordable! They are a small bakery shop that serves all sorts of Asian pastries, they also have boba tea and Vietnamese sandwiches. I highly recommend visiting and buying some treats from them. For payment cash is preferred but they accept credit card payments. The reason they keep their prices low is avoiding the extra bank fees so paying cash or tipping helps!
