The food here is definitely good, but man I have to comment on the people. Every time I place an online order, I have to call to adjust it because of an ordering limitation, and Every. Single. Time. the person who answers the phone is so incredibly happy to oblige. I’m hyper aware of trying NOT to be that ordering nightmare so I’m sensitive to a person’s tone and not one person here has ever even hinted at being inco... View all feedback.
What Katarzyna Zimek doesn't like about 24th Meatballs:
Vegan sub is small and pretty awful: completely flavourless meatballs that are falling apart and almost no cheese. No sauce either. It was super disappointing. I actually got an upset stomach after eating it and I’m feeling sick. I really wouldn’t recommend this place.. View all feedback.
For $40 our awful dinner tonight was gummy pasta, under cooked doughy garlic knots, an overpriced lame Cesar salad $10 for Romain, green can Kraft parmesan and bland stale croutons) and two tiny side balls that were over priced for their size. do better 24th &meatballs. do *so much* better. terrible meal for the price.
Delicious strolling in Portland! My partner and I had pasta with meatballs and it exceeded expectations. Spicy meatball was just the right amount of spices and the garlic knots are devine. 10:10 recommend and look forward to another trip to taste their pizza!
We came here from a recommendation My wife came from an employee. My family and I eat pizza weekly and at any time we hear from everywhere what should be good, we go. It is a 45-minute drive from Forest Grove, it was a Sunday evening at 6:00 or 6:30, beginning, dark in the Portland region at 4:30, so it is definitely quite cool outside. We were looking forward to a nice warm cake. We came to the counter and began to look at the different pizza options, and when I asked them what size the pizzas are, the answer was we're out of the dough. Whaa? How does a pizza place run from the dough? I mean, I think I understand how they could, but it really wasn't that late. Oh, well, they have discs available so we have a few of them, but my wife orders spaghetti and meatballs for themselves. We went outside to wait for our food to warm up and noticed that there were only outside the seating, and only when we went to sit down we noticed that the tables were all for the neighboring restaurant! There were some parking benches available in the hallway so that 's where we ended a seat. But unfortunately these seats had no lighting or heat. No pizza dough, no inside seats, no heated outside seats, always quite cool outside. It felt like a 45-minute drive from Forest Grove. Then the pizzas came out. And I must say that although these heated slices, the crust was deliciously thin and crispy on the ground, cheese and sauce were high quality, and the ingredients tasted great. We all enjoyed our pizza and my wife also enjoyed their spaghetti meatballs. She let me try one of the meatballs and it was very delicious. The pasta was maybe a bit overcooked, but it wasn't really distracting from the experience she had. Matteo and I even went back for another piece of meatball. Environmental factors despite, and the fact that they had run out of the dough, was a demolition, We must definitely try this place again when the weather gets good again. It was a nice little neighborhood that really looked perfect portland for a meal outdoors. PS**While we waited for our food, we noticed that two guys are going to send in to pick up a sales order, each with six pizzas. Someone had a party I appreciate and grabbed all the dough. Just bad timing.
I ate here last night and ordered the chicken parm meatball sub and kale salad. The sub didn?t have marinara and was loaded with cheese. The salad was sliced kale with a couple insignificant toppings and a sweet dressing on the side. I found the lack of sauce on the sub to be a bit of a surprise because I?m used to ?parm? meaning cheese, sauce, and meat. I may have been too hungry to care but IMO I could go for a more authentic presentation. The salad was boring and too simple. I can?t speak to the rest of the menu items. Service was quick and friendly but the food was meh.
We followed the name and got the pizza and meatball sub! Both lived up to the hype, it?s a very unassuming place but they put all their effort in the actual food. Great little area as well where you can get a drink hang out next door.
