this restaurant serves meat and vegan dishes. the booking was made a few days in advance for a table of 6 for a dinner. we ordered the vegan filled paprika, sweet potatoes falafel, simple chips and patatas band without the aioli to make it vegan. service was fast and friendly. a beautiful place to visit when eating with non-vegans. overpriced, terrible eating. a mushroom (both adult and child sizes) ordered both came from the same size. Cream chips consist of fries with a half bottle vegan garlic mayonnaise. patatas bravas was roasted tomato with a tasteless tomato sauce and again, half a bottle of mayonnaise. sent food back and they removed it from the bill grateful, others also gave food while we were there. extremely overpriced for tasteless... Different menu than on the previous review. Only Vegan pepper for vegans. No milk without milk. Vegetarians liked the food, was delicious but not cheap... These are tapas.
We had to book a table because this restaurant is popular. My husband and I had a vegan chickpea and mushroom wellington that was served with mash potatoes, roast potatoes, red cabbage, carrots and swede, and gravy. Vegetarians can have leeks in cheese sauce. It was a generous portion but it left just enough room for the delicious sticky toffee pudding (vegan puddings are available). Almost the whole menu is gluten-free and they are really thoughtful about allergies and special diets. Two of us had starters, four main meals, four puddings and four drinks and it was under £100, which I think is great value these days. Only complaint I could make is that it took quite a while for our main course to come but we used the time to have a leisurely chat and it all felt very relaxed.
This restaurant serves meat and vegan dishes. Booking was made a few days in advance for a table of 6 for an evening meal. We ordered the vegan stuffed peppers, sweet potato falafel, plain chips and patatas bravas without the aioli to make it vegan. Service was quick and friendly. A lovely place to visit if eating out with non-vegans.
We visited a lovely restaurant in Porthmadog where we enjoyed spicy falafel, patatas bravas, stuffed peppers, and chips. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly. There was a mistake with a non-vegan option being served, but when we brought it to their attention they quickly replaced it with a vegan option and even comped it for us.
The restaurant is overpriced and the food is terrible. We ordered both adult and child-sized portions of mushroom paella and they were the same size. The garlic chips were basically fries covered in a large amount of vegan garlic mayonnaise. The patatas bravas consisted of roasted potatoes with a bland tomato sauce and more mayonnaise. We sent the food back and they took it off the bill, but we noticed that others were also unhappy with their meals. The food was tasteless and the portions were small for the high prices.
