We have just returned from an excellent meal in the restaurant in caerwylan hotel. we booked it on the basis of tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. our eating was absolutely first advice. we would recommend the mango Prawn court and the terrine. as start the fish and the lamb main courses and the panna cotta as dessert; we would be very surprised if the other courts in the offer were not equally good. service was also very good. all employees were pleasant and efficient. we had coffee in the lounge with a fantastic view of the sea. it was our first day in criccieth so we can't compare it with other restaurants in the city, but it was a great start to our short high season in wales.

Wow, wow, wore the best meal we had here in the last 15 years! we never had a bad meal or experience. laura is amazing and a great hostess, funny, attentive and make sure everything is right. so take care and an excellent couple that make the best of this hotel and location.

What a place! fantastic view, relaxed service, incredible eating, why would they want to eat somewhere else! highly recommended

Had lovely starter Prawn with Chorizo and Duck pate with Brioche bread, mains had beef cheeks with vegetables, ok and my other half had the Moroccan lamb, lots of fat and not much flavour, found mains okish but nothing to write home about. I had an America coffee, okish and my husband had almond cake and poached pear sweet, nice but? Ok evening, restaurant quiet, staff good but felt food was average and not the type of food that sets your tastebuds on fire. Not as highend as the reviews suggest. Overpriced.

The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance, music, and decor were just perfect. The wine was also gorgeous. It's a shame that Trip Advisor requires me to write a longer review than necessary. But seriously, the first 94 characters summed it up perfectly.
