I had to wait a bit to be served since it was quite busy, but it was definitely worth it! They offer a great selection of gluten-free options, including many of their breakfast items, cakes, and cream teas. However, keep in mind that these are prepared in the same kitchen as the other dishes, so they come with a 'may contain' warning. View all feedback.
Every time we go to portleven we visit this place without fail. Lovely friendly staff and the home made cakes are out of this world !! Would highly recommend the twisted currant

Bright, airy and clean little cafe with friendly and welcoming staff. I very much enjoyed their vegan full breakfast and their delicious vegan cakes. My husband ordered a surprise birthday cake for me and it was superb. Decent portion sizes and reasonable prices. Table service. And they welcome dogs too.

Best cream tee I ever had. when it was late in the afternoon, we were warmly welcomed. we were also treated with freshly baked scenes. would recommend this place very if it were in the opposite.
