Brown's Country Kitchen - Portersville

I want to say the waitress was wonderful, but the food wasn't. We had four dinners. Both fish dinners were very thin and burned over boiled in stains. The meat was not ready, and both it and potatoes were cold. The pot roast dinner was good, but not hot. We paid almost $100 plus tip for 4 dinners. We got cakes for dessert, which was good. But really disappointed with dinner.

If you are a single diner, they will totally ignore you and go for the tables w several guests, although this group arrived after you I have done to them no return for me

My husband raves about Browns Country Kitchen’s breakfast, so last Sunday he took me there, only we arrived when they were no longer serving breakfast. Was disappointed, but after our lunch was served, my disappointment vanished!! I ordered the “Special “ hot turkey , stuffing and mashed potatoes!! OMG everything on my plate was incredible!! The stuffing was exceptional, best that I ever had!! Hoping that the very talented cook will share their recipe with me. Seriously , I could eat an entire pan of this stuffing!! The turkey was even better than Thanksgiving day turkey, so moist, cut it with a fork! Mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from scratch. My husband ordered the Liver and onions, he couldn’t stop raving about it!! Can’t wait to come back early so that I can experience their famous breakfast ! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

We go to Brown's Country Kitchen in Portersville frequently. Always have a wonderful experience. The waitresses are friendly, the food is great! Would recommend.
