Had a quick weekend breakfast and was hoping to return for lunch. The deli menu looks great! Pickles, Jewish dessert delicacies and that menu- Yum! For breakfast we chose to grab and go, and it was very good! Wish we had time to try other items. I am told that there are other locations in Delaware. Not a huge chain, and doesn't feel like one! What Petros Dandolos doesn't like about Rosenfeld Jewish Deli:
Gave it two stars because the food is good but the prices are ridiculously high (it’s a deli) and the servings sizes are incredibly small (think expensive French bistro) I just ordered a tuna salad sandwich, can of soda and side of macaroni salad…it was $21…no chips, no pickle, the macaroni salad was in the smallest possible sized container (was $4) and the sandwich was on two of the smallest pieces of rye bread I’ve... We wanted to try something new in the area and I'm glad we decided to come here. The interior of the building is very clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly. And the options feel endless. My eyes kept catching something new whether it be the babka, cannoli cake, strawberry short cake, or other desserts. We were very pleased with the quality of the food! I got For the Birds my bf got the Paul's sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back!
Overcooked, dry, and sloppy presentation, and small portions for the price that I paid. Wasn't worth the amount.
OMG! A New Yorkesk sandwich in Wilmington Delaware. I’m going back for another Corn beef&Pastrami. Putting Katz on Notice, no longer will I have to travel 200 miles for a sandwich. My prayers are answered! The sandwich was warmed with freshly sliced meat with coleslaw. The rye bread was tender as it dissolved in your mouth. The corned beef was tasty and did not conflict my tastebuds$17 bucks for a sandwich worth every penny, considering the price of gas and the tolls to arrive in New York. The staff were wonderful but the pickles in the plastic baggy through me for a loop (no wax paper) but the pickle was fresh and delicious, s o rest my case Rosenberg are my new favorite delicatessen!
Was excited to try this place. Chicken salad was delicious but they didn't include chips or a pickle. Their marble rye was also very good. I also ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup but the container was extremely small for $9. I would return but I would just checked my order before leaving.
