Suzy's Steak Seafood House - Portage

I will never return to this restaurant. We were rushed to order our food by our waitress, so we couldn't wait for our large group. We waited for an hour to eat, which wouldn't have been a big deal if the server had informed us beforehand. However, with two children under the age of two, it quickly became a nightmare. The food was not up to par with our previous experiences, and unfortunately, this was the tipping point. I hate to leave negative reviews, but if I could give this place zero stars, I would do so without hesitation.

Suzy's Steak Seafood House offers a full menu with popular dishes such as coconut shrimp, clam chowder, and parmesan baked haddock. The restaurant is located at 2711 County CX in Portage, WI. The staff is attentive and accommodating, even helping guests who are in a rush to make it to a concert. The restaurant also offers chicken wings, pizza, and a variety of sandwiches. While the service at the bar was lacking, patrons enjoyed a great experience at Little Italy in Portage. Overall, Suzy's Steak Seafood House may not be the same since the daughter took over, but it was once a great spot for dinner and drinks.

We stayed at the Best Western hotel next door for 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer after dining and drinking at this restaurant. We ate here every night and had a great time with Jenny, who was very polite. The food was delicious, especially the homemade soup, and the drinks were beautiful. The Tanquerays and tonics were top-notch, and the local Spotted Cow beer was fantastic. The restaurant is nice, clean, and the service is excellent. The menu offers exceptional options. We will definitely be coming back to this place when we work in the USA again, as we are looking forward to more great nights here. Keep up the great work, Jenny! See you next time.

Amazing! my brother and I are special when it comes to steak. suzy was one of the best we had. he even said he was flying from orlando to go to suzy. I had the steak oscar. the filet was perfectly medium cooked. my brother had steak and lobster. the lobster could have been a complete meal. his steak was also perfected. I recommend suzy’s and will be back when I am near portage.

Food was absolutely amazing...perfectly cooked steaks, well portioned amounts. Only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is the waitress was very rude and she was smacking gum while walking around and at the tables. Otherwise besides the waitress would definitely recommend.
