**Dining Experience Review: A Mixed Bag of Delights and Disappointments**
Nestled in Kalamazoo, this restaurant presents a charming atmosphere but struggles with consistency in food quality and cleanliness. Patrons have lauded the wings for their flavor, and many enjoyed flavorful cocktails, although some drinks arrived less than cold. However, recurring issues, such as unclean menus and overcooked dishes, have dampened the experience. Reports of unsatisfactory meals led to credits on bills, raising concerns about food safety. Overall, while the establishment has potential with its pleasant decor and some standout dishes, the mixed reviews suggest that a revisit may not be guaranteed for all.

So, before last night I never heard of Lodo Company. We ended up at the restaurant Lodo on Sunday because we were hungry and it pulled up on maps.Well, we had a wonderful experience! We ordered a build your own burger, bacon bleu cheese… they season the meat and it was juicy! It was one of the better burgers I’ve had…And… the bartender Chris made a freaking phenomenal blood Mary! PHE•Nom•ENAL!We ended the meal with a carrot cake that rivals my moms. Which is saying a lot because my moms is amazing, like shred your own carrots amazing. The price was reasonable, the service (Erin) was wonderful and the food delicious… we will definitely be back!!
I really enjoyed getting lunch here. The food as great and I enjoyed my drink. The fish and chips were really good and I loved the fact that the fries were cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again.
First time here in a decade, and had a really great meal here. The prices at first seemed a little high, but after the food came to the table it was WELL worth it for the quality, presentation, and size. Plus the atmosphere is nice. We had the spicy chicken sandwich, and the California club. Our server was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, and relaxing. Even the bathrooms were really clean and smelled good that's rare for a restaurant bathroom. All around very clean and highly recommend. The side salad was also well worth a $1 upcharge. It was large and had tons of fresh veggies in it. We'll definitely be back! Parking: Parking lot with plenty of spaces and easy to navigate.
8pm on a beautiful summer Friday, outdoor patio is empty and only several people at the bar inside. The drinks were strong, but a female bar tender finished off the leftovers of a mixed drink from the shaker after pouring into some glasses... Just weird vibes. Decor is meh but intoxicated people make it lively enough. Our cocktails were strong though. Wouldn't order food here, it seems like the food would be subpar. Sorry, critical review but it was a weird experience.
Our table has crumbs on it and crayons scattered underneath. We briefly consider going for sushi across the parking lot but decide to stick it out and eat here. The chorizo bites are still listed on the menu but no longer served. The waitress expresses her disbelief that they haven’t been removed yet, saying it's been a while. Hey, owner, why are you ignoring your staff? They see issues that need fixing! As for the food, my wife orders a wrap that looks decent but tastes like something our kids could easily make at home. She rates it a 2.5. I order the bolognese, and the sauce is overcooked. That's a 2 from me. How does this place have a 4.2 rating? I overhear two other tables nearby complaining about their meals as well. We leave around 8:30 PM, and the restaurant is nearly empty on a Friday night. What we did enjoy: The decor was quite nice and the toast served with the bolognese was perfect! Will we come back? It's not completely ruled out, but it's unlikely.
