This week so far I have gone to eat here twice and the lady there is so kind and considerate. I have a broken hand so it’s hard to carry a lot at once. The lady there never makes me get my own silverware or napkins as she will bring them to me. I really appreciate her kindness to help me by bringing everything to me. View all feedback.
What J W doesn't like about Sumo Japanese Teriyaki Sushi:
I was excited about trying this restaurant. I was very disappointed. I ordered the Hibachi chicken with vegetables and fried rice. The vegetables were delicious. The chicken was okay but not very memorable. The fried rice was tasteless. My grandson who is a rice person passed on the rice after one spoon. Maybe they're trying to get the kinks out because they are relatively new. That being said I will just mosey on do... View all feedback.
My friend and I met up for lunch today at Sumo. I ordered the shrimp chicken hibachi and she ordered the scallop steak hibachi. We both enjoyed our food. The restaurant is nice clean. It did not take long for our food to be delivered. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Glad we got something a little different around the Pdub area. I have been here at least 2 times and was happy both. Items me and my family have tried: Hibachi chicken/steak/shrimp with noodles and veggies Steak and scallops with fried rice Steamed dumplings Different kinds of sushi rolls Clear soup Now, would you say this is like Miyabis in Savannah? No. But when you need a quick fix, or want to save some bucks, this is a good spot to check out. Not the best sushi, but I have had a lot worse. I will keep stopping by this place and telling people about it.

Very solid average sushi to be expected in South Georgia! No complaints about anything ordered, but when you've had sushi in Alaska and California, it's hardly a fair comparison! Would definitely recommend as service was fantastic and timely!
Very good traditional hibachi and sushi restaurant. The biggest drawback would be their lack of variety. I have had about 7 meals here and they all have been very good albeit a little bit pricy.
