Yayo Catracho - Port St. Lucie

We have been coming to this restaurant in PSL for about 3 years now. During our first visit, we tried the cheese pupusas and the mixed pupusas, and they were much better than other places we have been to in the PSL area. The person who served us was very friendly and cheerful. We will definitely be coming back.

I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 20 to 25 minutes. When I arrived half an hour later, I was informed it would be an additional 5 to 10 minutes. After waiting in my car for 12 more minutes, the waiter (who had told me 5 to 10 minutes) said my order should be ready soon as they had just started it. I couldn't believe it took an hour to get 5 baliadas.

I used to always come to this place when it was $3. I went today and ordered a baleada with everything, but my order was missing some ingredients and seemed overcooked. I ended up paying $25 for this disappointing meal.

Yayo catracho is a very humble restaurant with real homemade meals. customer service. Note that her meat is cut thin. I recommend the black tajadas (green curtains), the cheese and loroco (green) pupusas. the ananas empanadas are good! support small shops.

Food is great but waited a bit to get it; however, it seemed to be cooked from scratch and fresh. Interior is humble but clean.
