Gus's Pub - Port Mcneill

Waitstaff was very slow and not very friendly seeming and didn’t check up often, food and drinks took a long time to arrive and I’ve overheard that many of the employees are either not vaccinated or are anti vaxx and handle your food and drinks. It’s a shame. XOXO Diane from Victoria BC

Service on 11th and 14th juli 2022 great. not so on 17. juli had to ask for the greeting when entering service. eating the west coast caesar salad with prawnen and scallops and the curbutt and chips were very good on 11 and 14 juli. juli the 17 the west coast caesar salat the garnelen and scallops were over seasoned with cajun seasoning could hardly taste the seafood, the cod and chips the teig was faty and not completely boiled

Lovely view of the harbour and over the water. The place was very busy because not much else in town. The food was very good with lots of West Coast variety on the menu. Unfortunately they were out of the Mussels we wanted. The food...took about 45min to come.

I spent two nights in Port McNeill and dined at Casting both nights. I decided to return on the second night because the food and service were excellent. I was not disappointed the second time around. The staff was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 7 years every September, and we always make sure to have at least one meal at Gus's.
