The Duck on Clarence - Port Macquarie

The food is delicious and all locally produced. The craft beers are amazing and there is a big selection that could keep you going all afternoon. The pub atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great central location. It quickly became our favourite watering hole.

We hosted a fundraising event for the "Black Dog Institute" at our restaurant, with 140 attendees supporting people suffering from depression. Throughout the afternoon, guests savored craft beers and wines while indulging in fast food. The crowd mingled for three hours before some stayed behind to continue enjoying each other's company.

Food & service great. The local beer selection was great, I told them what I drink normally, they gave me a taste of what they thought that I would prefer .East Coast was great. No fish on the menu had the Squid that was great, BUT THE BATTERED CHIPS are the best that I ever had A large amount had (20 or so of the family) had the ribs & said that they were great, the beef burgers were huge but everyone got through the lot because they were so good.'

We have visited Duck brewery on several occasions, so it was exciting to see them expanding into the town. The layout of the restaurant is simple and cafe-style, with ample space for the crowd on Friday nights. They offer a good selection of their own beers, as well as some unexpected additions. The menu is small, but the quality is top-notch. We opted for the double cheeseburger, which did not disappoint. The burgers appeared to be homemade and had a slight smoky flavor that we enjoyed. The crispy fried chips were a pleasant change from the usual soggy ones found in many restaurants. The beers were as expected, and the service was both prompt and friendly. We look forward to visiting on a busier night for the music and atmosphere. Overall, we highly recommend Duck brewery.

The staff were excellent in helping me to choose the right beer, then a great selection of food to choose from. Highly recommend you drop in!
