Kimchi House is a great place to eat when you are in China Town Port Louis. The atmosphere is peaceful and fresh. The noodles are made in-house, so is the kimchi and probably the miso as well. This place has all the classic dishes. Probably the best Korean food on the island.
Kimchi House is a great place to eat when you are in China Town Port Louis. The atmosphere is peaceful and fresh. The noodles are made in-house, so is the kimchi and probably the miso as well. The restaurant is upstairs from the entrance (do not wait down at the reception for someone to come, just go up). They serve authentic korean food, the owner being Korean. The vegetarian options were great and so was the ginger tea. The portions are price-worthy, as is the tastiness of the food. The staff was really nice and helpful, definitely want to go back to taste the rest of their menu.
It's a small place, very warm and family friendly. You can also cook your own meat and it's worth the experience. The Korean menu was worth while and if you miss or are in love with Korean food this is the place to go.

A very nice restaurant. Enjoyed the food and customer service was amazing, we were given to go packs because we did not end our food. Will definitely go back.
