I entered the restaurant and was completely ignored. Other customers were speaking to the employee, but I wasn't even acknowledged. I wanted to browse through the books they had, but decided not to purchase anything because of the lack of customer service. They did have a good selection of both new and used books. Very cute! I wish I lived in the area so i could come in on mornings and sit with a good book. The drinks are delicious and the staff very kind. I’ll be stopping by whenever I’m in Padre!

Beautiful small bookstore in the quiet city port isabel. about the historical lighthouse, close to artistic shops and restaurants (including the new hopper house coffee, original artwork and of course books! ideal for surfing, reading or just relaxing. very friendly and welcoming.
Great local bookstore with a small coffee shop at the back. Owner really friendly and helpful. Check out the displays from local artists too!
Excellent coffee and service. Not to mention a good selection of novels.
