Reviews - McCormick's
Reviews summary
A recent exploration of a local pub highlights a mix of experiences, raising questions about consistency and quality. While some patrons rave about delightful dishes like Irish egg rolls and cheesesteak sandwiches, others express disappointment over unexpected condiments and questionable food quality. Issues with cleanliness and a lack of variety in drink options, particularly the absence of liquor, detracted from the atmosphere. Additionally, slower service and an off-putting ambiance left some diners feeling underwhelmed. Despite these concerns, the friendly waitstaff and reasonable prices may still make it a viable choice for casual bar fare.

This was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last! The Irish egg rolls were a delight, and the cheesesteak sandwich was fantastic. I'm sorry to hear that, after we left, someone drove through the front of the restaurant. It may take some time for them to get back up and running, but I definitely recommend giving it a try! What The Watcher dislikes about McCormick's:
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time today through DoorDash. A few minutes after placing my order, I called to request either mayo on my Club sandwich or a side of mayo that I was happy to pay for. When my food arrived, not only was there no mayo at all, but they had put ketchup on my Club sandwich! What? There was no indication on the menu that ketchup would be included. The people were friendly and the food was great. I have only been in this area for a little over a year, but this restaurant is on my list. Their Peanut Butter cheese cake was really good, too. My sister-in-law liked their angry ball drink, and my husband enjoyed their bloodymary. I had a Swiss mushroom burger and sweet potato fries. My brother had a hamburger and cheese sticks, and my husband had chili.
The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the Rubin pastrami sandwich. The pub has a warm and cozy atmosphere that is very inviting. Overall, a delightful experience.
Had a great time visiting from Colorado. Cole was attentive and friendly. Michelle and Sheila behind the bar were knowledgeable and prompt. Food was Amazing. I moved away in'18. Since then I've been craving a reubastrami. OMG it as good as ever. My family lives there and were extremely pleased.Great job everyone. Thanks

Didn 't like this place at all. The restroom smelled excessively like urine and there were little black gnats all over the place. The wife said she saw some at the table. These things come from the sewers and indicate poor housekeeping on the sinks and drains. I had the cod fish fried which was real cod but battered in corn meal. Corn meal batter in an Irish Pub??? Should be beer battered. The coleslaw was spoiled and I couldn 't eat it for fear of getting sick. Bob 's famous baked beans were so overpowered with molasses, they tasted like licorice. I had the mac and cheese along with my fish and it was dried up on top and mushy on the bottom so I guess they keep it in the fridge in the serving bowl and then pop it in the broiler when ordered thus the dried up top layer. And I mean mushy, not creamy. Maybe a great place for bikers to grab a beer but not for any kind of pleasant dining experience.
The waitstaff were incredibly personable and engaging, and they had excellent knowledge about the menu. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable as well. I would definitely return and would recommend it to everyone!

The restaurant was clean, and the food was quite good, as was the service. However, there weren't many customers, and it took an unusually long time for our party of four to receive our meals. The ambiance felt more like a Coney Island than a pub. Additionally, there were no spirits or draft beer available, which was disappointing since we had hoped to enjoy some drinks with our meal. Overall, it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Who puts ketchup on a Club sandwich? It was disgusting, and I ended up throwing it away. It was a total waste of time and money, and I'm still hungry.
