Taziker's Restaurant & Pub - Port Hardy

Food was delicious, well prepared, worth every penny. Service slow, looks like a dive but well worth eating here. Definitely recommend dinner & desert.

We ate breakfast here each morning during our stay at the Glen Lyon Inn and also had one dinner here. We found the staff to be very friendly and we were acknowledged as soon as we entered, asked to take a seat at any table and then attended to promptly for drinks. Meals were served fairly quickly and proportions were large and enjoyable. When not taking orders for guests, the waitress was busy making sure the empty tables were cleared and cleaned quickly in readiness for new guests. We found the food to be well priced and the views over the estuary were lovely.

Typical, out-of-major-center, associated-with-a-hotel eatery. Decor is nothing to write home about; service was prompt and friendly and appropriately helpful. Food was very good - we have many breakfasts "out" and this place did a fine job.

I recently ate at this restaurant for dinner and then breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Crispy Cajun Chicken burger and it was really good. Crispy on the outside and very juicy inside. My friend had the turkey, bacon and avocado panini and also said it was very good. The next morning I had the breakfast wrap which was also excellent. The pan fries however will still a little hard. It is great to have another place to eat while in Port Hardy. You also cannot beat the view of the ocean, eagles and even a helicopter that dropped someone off on the retaining wall/levee out front.

Great view outstanding food and awesome staff if you come to port hardy you really have to check this place out I cannot say enough to properly describe the food and atmosphere of this establishment
