Cafe Guido Co - Port Hardy

Great little cafe. Everything you could ask for in a non franchise coffee shop. Pastries were fresh and the Americano was strong with good crema. This cafe is a usual stop for us when visiting Hardy.

Nice little coffee shop with a bookstore inside it. Friendly staff and a small selection of sandwiches and pastries to go with your coffee. I had the Mexicano. It was good.

Were really looking forward to trying this place as we had heard good things. However, we were really disappointed with the manner of our serving barista who had a real attitude problem and was rude to us for no apparent reason and sadly spoiled the experience for us. The lady who actually made our drinks was lovely.Food: 3/5

Great coffee and cakes. They also have a drive through near the hardware shop. Upstairs in the cafe are locally made crafts and downstairs is a book shop. We’ll worth a visit.

Nice little cafe for a specialty coffee. Wife had a Hardy Dog and cinnamon bun, I had a macchiato and banana bread which has some Choco chip fun-ness. Book store beside has lots to peruse too. Highly recommend, especially on a rainy day.Food: 5/5
