Babe's Pub - Port Hardy

Located by the docks on the waterfront the view is great. The service and food were prompt. The server did well explains the specials and attending to me immediately. The calamari on this visit was cooked well but the batter and dip lacked flavor.

Nice view. Awful service. Weird atmosphere. Boring food. Expensive. But they have free parking. So there's a reason to stop here after all.

While the view at this restaurant is stunning, my wife and I were disappointed with our dining experience. The chef seems to have misplaced his salt shaker, as everything we ordered was severely under-seasoned. My fish and chips were soggy and lacked flavor, while the calamari was crispy but tasteless. The beef vegetable soup tasted like it came straight from a can and was lacking in beef. Even the broccoli soup my wife had was just "ok." Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant, despite it being part of the hotel. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

The food is great and the service is like eating with your family only friendly. Amanda keeps the place humming and makes everyone know they are welcome. The club sandwiches are amazing and all other food is great.

Great place to dine in Port Hardy,this is part of the Glen Lyons Hotel there.They have both a restaurant and a pub where you can get the same food.Favourite of the locals.
