We were in the area last weekend visiting family. This was our go to spot, after our first meal there. We had the fish'n'chips, lobster roll, poutine, and pizza. Everything was delicious and hot. What User doesn't like about Cape 16 Market:
The staff was very pleasant and the place very clean .. with that being said I ordered the fish and chips and the fish was definitely not in anyway fresh and it was not thawed enough before it was tossed in the batter because when I cut the fish in two alot of water came out of it .. the batter tasteless .. no flavor what so ever . My mate had the cheese Burger and said that was actually very good .. the home made on... View all feedback.
We just drove by July 11 2014, and the sign out front says Closed until April and it was obviously empty. I believe it is out of business
Last weekend, we visited family in the area and decided to return to our favorite spot after our first meal there. We enjoyed the fish and chips, lobster roll, poutine, and pizza, and everything was delicious and served hot. The staff was very friendly too. Had clam platter and it was perfect! Clams were tender with a light crispy batter and the homemade fries were perfectly crispy but not hard. Service, as always, was excellent Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
The food and service were exceptional! I had the seafood platter, and it was incredible!
One of those off the Highway Diners that offers Fantastic Food! If you havent stopped here before you really should! The burgers! See for yourself! Great stop on the way to the confederation bridge.
