Whilst this restaurant is rather 'tired ' these days, it has maintained the quality, variety and presentation of their menu. The fact that they will be relocating to Macrossan street shortly probably explains the general ambience. View all feedback.
What Lilian Casanova doesn't like about On the Inlet:
Overrated and overpriced. I wouldn't go to this place ever again. Food with no flavour. The crab linguini was close to inedible! The tiger prawns was as good as eating it raw! View all feedback.
We walked in on a Saturday with no reservations and were invited to wait in the bar for an available table.
I sat down here for a "treat yoself" lunch of a margarita and oystersThe margarita was weak, with lemon juice and sugar syrup.
Great place to see the fish feeding. Lovely view of the water. Don't expect great service. And a bucket of prawns is one a quarter of a bucket
We had a wonderful view watching the sunset but make certain you book well in advance like we did or you will get a table in the middle. The food was well cooked and reasonably priced but the wine is super expensive with no option for BYO. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
