While our overall dining experiences in Port Douglas have been marked by good food at steep prices, Chapter One was a refreshing change. Here, we enjoyed top-notch meals at reasonable prices. It easily offered the highest quality dining we've encountered in Port Douglas, making the short drive from town well worth it. They specialize in premium beef, and we were fortunate to sample a 7+ steak that was incredibly tender and among the best I've ever had. The chef truly knows his craft, and the smoker and menu were impressive. With an excellent wine selection, we truly appreciated the attentive service we received.
