What User doesn't like about Hidalgo's Crazy Tacos:
Accidentally took a wrong turn from this place I thought I would get one of the specials for the day that spend more money and sadly I thought taco bell tasted better. Wasn't too happy with the name may be that threw me off since I live with the mental health challenge that hate the word crazy to describe food I find it offensive. View all feedback.
Food was amazing! Definitely worth a try, you won't regret it! My daughter had a torta son in law had chorizo tacos.
Small establishment that has no frills authentic Mexican food. Just cause it’s no frills don’t assume that what’s happening in that kitchen is too cause that would be your mistake. The meat is seasoned, tender, and the main event. I recommend the tongue, steak, and shredded pork tacos. The red/orange sauce was good and spicy. The guacamole is chunky and the chips are light crispy and salted to perfection. You can’t go wrong. I’m going back for the burrito.
The best authentic Mexican food in town! Everything is so fresh. It's the perfect spot for lunch with delicious Mexican tacos and Modelo beer! I’m definitely going to be a regular here.
I ordered the Hildago Crazy Burrito with Al Pastor for $16.75. It came wrapped in a large tortilla, but there wasn't enough marinated pork, and there were way too many beans. The Pico de Gallo was disappointing as it had pickled jalapeños instead of fresh ones, which I really don't like. The burrito was also packed with rice, and I had specifically asked for no lettuce. The two sauces provided were just okay; the orange sauce was spicy and had a bit more flavor than the green one, but neither impressed me. I got my order to-go and shared the burrito with my husband; even half was quite filling. Initially, I wanted a fish taco, but they use Swai fish, which doesn't appeal to me at all. After considering my experience, I’ve decided I won’t be returning. I’d rather spend $17 on some quality tacos at Irma's Tacos in North Port instead.
Our new favorite taco spot that we discovered a few months ago is just across the street. The service is quick, and the tacos are both tasty and authentic. They offer mild and hot sauces that are both delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend it! We've been back several times. They even play authentic music, which adds to the experience.
