Came here on the off chance and were a bit apprehensive because the restaurant was empty with not many tables. We needn't have worried because the aromas were as warm as the staff. What User doesn't like about Indian Indulgences:
We had trouble finding somewhere for a bite to eat in Port Augusta(this was the day of the power outage in SA) So we ended up driving to Indian Indulgances and were quite pleased. We had a nice quiet meal of freshly prepared food. Enjoyable! View all feedback.
The best Indian food. Great service. Don't be fooled by the inconvenient appearance. This restart has so high quality food!! The service is not one. It's also BYO wine. We had Pakoras, Tandoori Lemon Chicken for Entree. Lovely!!! Followed by Lamb Rogan...Josh, Spicy Prawns and Daal, with Raita and Naan. Sublime! And what we didn't eat, we could take home!!
Do not let the inconvenient facade affect your visit. We had an excellent family dinner here. The quality and choice of food was great. Nice staff and clean and quiet environment. This restaurant was a highlight of our stay in Port Augusta. The best Indian on this side of Mumbai!
Clean friendly place, we went here on the basis of Google recommendation, but where both quite disappointed, I had a butter chicken and my friend a vegetable corma and both, where sick sweet and the only thing you could taste was sugar. Many choices, good taste, satisfying portions. Indian Indulgences takes off and eats in.
We got takeaway whilst driving through Port Augusta last night and cannot say enough how extremely good this Indian Restaurant is. So tasty with extremely good quality meats. The Samosas were wonderful and even the rice was excellent. Not cluggy like you can get with...takeaway food. Will definitely be stopping there more often when driving through. The lady they look my order was lovely too.
