The dining room is from a bygone era - not flashy, just a beautiful, large old room to dine in.We had the ribs and the chicken salad. Fresh ingredients, very tasty and generous serves. Only criticism is that it took a while (45 minutes) for our dishes to be served.Overall a lovely night! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cena on Chapel:
It was overcooked and tasted foul. I sent it back after a few mouthfuls, I have never done this before. I accepted a different replacement meal of my choice. Not quiet as bad and I struggled to eat it out of politeness. It was also overcooked and tough with very salty mashed potatoes. View all feedback.
Read previous reviews and decided to give it a go for a lunch stopover enroute to coober pedy...glad we did...had the seafood plate which was lovely, but the real bargain was the fish of the day lunch special...$12 for a big meal of fish, salad and chips....worth it I say.
We eat here about once a fortnight. They always provide delicious freshly cooked meals (and huge servings) for an affordable price. It's a nice place to sit after a busy day at work too.
Typical good Italian menu. I had a beef schnitzel, generous size. Room ambience good, service was also good.
After driving more than 14 hours to Port Augusta my partner and I were keen to relax in our hotel room and eat a nice meal. Luckily we ordered from The Cena. It was fabulous! The steak was cooked to perfection and the seafood platter entree was delicious! Definitely recommend this one!
