The gardens are a great place to visit. There are how the name suggest a variety of different arid land plants. Great parking and picnic areas with drinking water. The cafe was wonderful. Courteous staff, reasonable prices. Good coffee and they even cut my cake in half, so I could just share. A very nice gift shop, but a little expensive. View all feedback.

So an amazing place to go around, loved the information that Aborigines used the native plants. The bird is a great idea. We went to the visitor centre and had a delicious morning tea. Worth a visit.
Great experience walking among the native Australian bush plants!! You have good delicious vegan choices... don't miss the gift shop! Great quality Australian useful knick knacks highly recommended if you go through or visit Port augusta.apparent the sunset walking would also be great..we just walked during the day and had lunch...
Very interesting place. Large small cafe with friendly staff. Beautiful quandong cake
I’ve just completed a 20,000 km loop from Vic, SA, Northern Territory Western Australia and back to South Australia and this has to be the most pleasurable experience coming to the arid gardens and drinking nice coffee and the best vanilla slice in the whole of my trip. The setting is exquisite, the staff friendly, food and cakes delectable.
