Mogas - Port Augusta West

After reading a positive review of this cafe, I decided to go out of my way for breakfast before heading to a football game. Unfortunately, I arrived to find a larger table had already ordered ahead of me. After waiting 45 minutes, my bacon and poached eggs arrived cold. I asked for a refund and left, feeling disappointed. Though the previous table seemed to enjoy their cold meals, I will not be returning to this cafe in the future.

Wow I got a schnitzel chips and salad for only $15. These meals are of a huge size and taste fantastic. Staff are very friendly.

After giving this cafe a thorough evaluation, I stopped in on my way out of the city for a quick bacon and egg breakfast before heading to a football game. I initially thought I had chosen the wrong time to visit, as a table of six to eight people arrived before me and placed their order. My companion and I ordered bacon and eggs for two, along with a few coffees, and settled in to enjoy the morning. The coffee was served promptly, but we were dismayed to see the large table's order being delivered one or two plates at a time, delaying our own meal. Our breakfast finally arrived after 45 minutes, but to our disappointment, it was served cold. Unable to wait for a replacement, I requested a refund and decided not to return. The previous table seemed to be enjoying their cold breakfast more than we did.

I was impressed with the excellent value at this restaurant - where I got a chip and salad for just $15. The portions were generous and the food tasted fantastic. The staff were also very friendly.
