Yellow River - Port Alberni

The variety of food was not very big which is the only reason for 4 stars. The service and quality of food was excellent! They only bring out small amounts of food and make sure it is made freshly constantly. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

These people appreciate local wild vegan options (mushrooms .. I offered to many places in this town, none of them respected as good as here. Best Chinese Food in Port Alberni. It is always fresh and cooked well. They don't cook large amounts like some restaurants do so one can always enjoy fresh cooked food. I have been dining here for years and when I go somewhere else for Chinese food., I always regret it. One thing I hate when I go to another Chinese Restaurant and that is, most of the time, the food all tastes the same.. This never happens at the Yellow River..

Really great! We did takeaway, everything was fresh and hot. Very friendly at the front as well. I loved the beef chop suey, lemon chicken, and chicken Chow mein!

Came here on vacation from the mainland with my partner and 5 kids. The place was very nice and clean inside, service was great and prices were very fair especially for childens buffet. Anything that was needed was cooked and served right away.
