The Cypress Restaurant & Lounge

The Cypress Restaurant is probably one of the best places to dine in Port Alberni. The service is superb and the food is excellent! My favourite place to dine out! Another thing I think is amazing is that the owner always seems to serve one item to every table and personally asks if everything is fine. Not something you see in most places.

The food here is great and very reasonably priced and in a fun beautiful atmosphere. Can always count on a good meal here!

I've been here a few times for business meetings and it's a good place for meetings as they have lots of private areas and booths etc in the back room if needed.I was back a few days ago and every time I've been I have been very pleased with the food and service.Fresh and flavourful.This time I had the Rim Rock Hot Pot with Ling cod and prawns in a mild thai curry and what a delight.Everyone at our table enjoyed their foodReasonable pricesGood place for lunch or business meetings in Port AlberniI'll be back

Original westcoast decor - like walking into an Emily Carr painting, peaceful and pleasing. Service is always very good and the food is excellent. The original take on cheesecake is hard to pass up, no matter how big a serving you just ate

Had the fish and chip,coleslaw was bland and in the bottom was the base of the cabbage ,and the tarter sauce looked like it was weeks old ,asked for gravy never got this is the 2nd time I have had a meal and the last time..1st was a fatty prime rib and greasy vegetables
