My wife Huhn Burrito seemed to be missing rice and beans, so basically was a chicken slaughter. That said the place was slammed and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They cleaned the bar up there when they had no table and were nice to the plumbers. So five stars for welcome and three for food.

When you arrive, you will be greeted with chilli flavored popcorn and invited to penetrate an extensive Mexican menu. The tortillas were great, and there is a selection of three way meal with an enchilada taco and burrito with a selection of meat.

The owner... read more I live in Chicago, where there is a large Mexican population, so I know what good Mexican food is. Here it is. I ordered the enchiladas in mol sauce. The owner is made of Guerrero condition and explains to me that it is Guerrero style Mol and is a little sweeter and has less cocoa than the mol poblano sauce that I was used. It was very good and exactly the right picture I knew sweat from my forehead before I finished the first of my three Enchiladas. I was surprised that the meal did not come with rice or beans, just a small portion of Koleslaw. But the enchiladas were huge and filled with chicken breast, so I left very full. It was a good meal at a reasonable price with great service. If you are not in hot hot hot food, some of the other dishes like the Burritos are not so hot. You just have to ask how picante is the court.

It has generous portions of delicious Mexican food at decent prices. There is also a lot of choice. The service is friendly and efficient and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect margaritas too! I would highly recommend if you are in Popayan. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of food, but we had Burritos, Quesadillas and Quesados and pork ribs. All tasty you can also doggy bag as we did as the portions are large.
