Description

This Pooler café delivers standout soups and pastries and warm, accommodating staff at times, yet suffers inconsistent service, long waits, order errors, and occasional cleanliness issues. Sandwiches and cookies impress when executed, but undercooked mac-and-cheese and missing ingredients have appeared. Drive-thru and pickup experiences vary; staff have been praised for going the extra mile during closing. Expect comforting menu highlights and friendly moments, but bring patience and check orders before leaving.

Ordered pick up and they forgot to add my drinks to my bag. They did not refund my money and claimed I had to come back into the store to get the credit. They also forgot utensils. The restaurant wasn’t even busy.

After getting a Cracker Barrel salad to go last night where they left out the tomatoes, I thought I’d try Panera so I got the green goddess chicken Cobb salad, which i thought was supposed to have avocado on it. But when I got back to my hotel room and started to eat it, I couldn’t find any avocado. I looked up the description on the website and yes, it was supposed to have avocado. The rest of the salad was very good, but I’m not sure I’ll order from there again. After reading the multiple reviews of people who were missing chicken on their salad, I guess I’m lucky I got chicken. The piece of bread was nothing to write home about. Almost too hard to eat.

Carmen and Jaylan were a delight with serving us beginning to end! The Chicken Chipotle Avocado sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar soup NEVER disappoints! This Pooler store is our favorite mom daughter lunch spot.

Had a bad experience with Jaylyn at the handoff counter. I went here around 8:30pm at night on 5/10/24 to get some food and coffee. I’m a sip club member so I’m pretty expecting of some stock being in the back this late, no problem. I patiently waited about 3-4 minutes for the cashier to finish up taking an order so I could ask for cream and decided it could be quicker to ask the guy at the handoff counter who was texting if he could get it for me. He very quickly said “it’s up there, she will get it for you” and pointed to the cashier, as he drifted back to his phone right in front of me. Mind you everyone around him was cleaning and there wasn’t that many people here this night. His attitude and inability to simply get some cream, especially because he seemed like a supervisor, astounded me. I still can’t believe he just went back to his phone. I used to be a supervisor in the service industry and the way he treated me was the way people I would send home for the night would act. They’re running up the clock doing nothing, and worse of all not even accommodating a customer. More of a liability to the company than an asset if you ask me. Super rude and lazy. Did not even try to accommodate, say it in a nice way, or help his teammates who are all working hard. I went back to the front counter, waited for another three minutes, and decided if I asked again maybe he would do it. As I shouldn’t have to wait this long for cream when someone who wasn’t busy could do it. So I did. He didn’t like it all. Didn’t say a word, and very grudgingly gave me a half gallon of cream. You could tell it in his expression. Come to find out when I get home that my grain bowl is missing some of the best ingredients, the reason I got it (the avocado). Just overall horrible experience. I’m not a salty person, I put up with a lot and I understand the job, but I also understand how upper management sometimes doesn’t have eyes and ears on their nightly employees, so I hope this can shine some light. People usually only write reviews if they had a really good experience that stood out or a really bad one. And this one was on the bad, unfortunately.
