Reviews - Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen
Reviews summary
Cheddar's proudly stands out as a family-friendly dining option, earning praise for its attentive service and enjoyable atmosphere despite some inconsistencies. While many diners appreciate the quick drink and appetizer service, they've noted varying experiences with main courses ranging from delicious to disappointing. Popular menu items include the croissants and cheese curds, though issues such as overcooked pasta and bland sides have been reported. Overall, Cheddar's is commended for its affordability and great portion sizes, making it a viable choice for larger groups, though a more consistent food quality and menu clarity—particularly regarding gluten-free options—could enhance the experience.

The chicken was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It's definitely one of the best salads I've ever tasted. I also loved the croissants. The service was excellent. I can't wait to return! View all feedback.
What Rachel Newton dislikes about Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen:
The waitress came and took our order and brought our drinks very quickly. The food took a long time coming, even the appetizer. My baked potato was a reheated potato that wasn’t even hot enough to melt the butter. My daughter’s chicken tenders were not hot. The salads were very fresh, but the ranch hardly had any flavor. We very rarely saw our waitress. I was so disappointed with this meal. View all feedback.

The waiter was fantastic! The drinks and appetizers were enjoyable. However, the main course was disappointing. We tried the frozen Sangria margaritas and the spinach dip, which were decent, but we also ordered the Cajun Alfredo. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and burnt; the meat was black and dry, and the shrimp had a rubbery texture. The Alfredo sauce was quite watery as well. On a positive note, the croissants were tasty. I would only come back for drinks and appetizers.
(2022) The tips were excessively fatty, and the broccoli was bland. I ordered online and ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for the food, which made us late for our next event. **Update: I ordered delivery to work and opted for the key lime shrimp and chicken, hoping for a better experience than last time. However, our server, Dallas, was really nice but forgot to check in with me and the three kids. We had to remind him about our cake order, and my meal was incorrect. While I understand that mistakes happen, his forgetfulness and not taking any notes was a bit frustrating. The rice was undercooked and hard. Due to the inconsistency, I likely won't return, but I do appreciate that it is very affordable for feeding a large family.
I had a great experience at Cheddar's. I brought some coworkers along, and one of them mentioned they had never been there before. So we decided to have lunch at Cheddar's, and I was really impressed with the customer service. The food was delicious, and I ended up taking the leftovers home! The restaurant was nice and clean, and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

I've visited several Cheddar's locations in Georgia and Florida, and I have to say, this one is my favorite so far. The staff is very knowledgeable about both the current and past menu items. I especially appreciate how attentive they are to my children's needs. The food is consistently excellent. I’m particularly fond of the croissants, and I absolutely love the Wisconsin cheese curds!
The food is quite good, both in quality and portion size. However, the server didn’t seem very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. It might be beneficial for the restaurant to include gluten-free items on their menu. This could aid both the servers and the customers.
Good food and service. Artichoke and chicken lures a big one. Ribs do not fall off the bone.
They were totally crazy busy but our server was still very sweet even if she couldn’t get by us often. She was clearly busy and we were gracious. She still took good care. Our food came timely and was good. We liked the Buffalo chicken wrap the best. The Monte Christo was super sweet so I could barely finish a quarter of it. For the price it’s a great family spot!!
