The all-you-can-eat special was abundant, delicious, and offered at a great value. The riblets stood out as a favorite, especially when paired with the honey BBQ sauce!
I decided to visit this restaurant after seeing advertisements for their adult beverages, but my experience was disappointing. We did not receive any eaters, our appetizers arrived before our drinks, we had to ask for utensils, we were never checked on by our server, and we had to ask a different server to cash us out after waiting over 20 minutes. Despite it being a Friday evening, the restaurant was not busy and it seemed like they might be closing early. While our server was not blatantly rude, they were inattentive. The burger was bland and the broccoli was overcooked. The ribs had good flavor but needed more sauce, and the portions were small. Communication and service could have been greatly improved during our visit.
It's been a while since I last visited Applebee's. Recently, I decided to give it another try after seeing a TV advertisement for their all-you-can-eat special for $14.99. My wife and I had a great meal and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
