Was Jojo at The Sloop a mag?
We have eaten at the Sloop a few times. Today the food was good but they no longer offer sweet potato fries as an extra which is a shame. They also used to do pigs in blankets which were delicious but alas no more. The burger meal was great as were the sausages. My seafood platter was OK. The scallops were well cooked but not drained so a lot of wet. They also used very basic white baguettes which let the dish down.... View all feedback.

Came here for lunch with some old friends, the service was brilliant.. we were greeted right away and the drinks order took no time at all. The menu was a lot bigger than expected and the food was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back to the sloop!
Very good food, service was slow, however the owner came and apologised, as a large group had ordered minutes before us.

I much prefer brown bread with prawns etc. Also the side salad was a little basic. Overall, the meal was enjoyable but those little details were missing.

Looked at menu online but when got there menu was slightly different and she told me it hadn't been updated. Specifically went for cheese pie advertised but wasn't actually available, in fact no pies were available. Being a vegetarian my choice was limited but the mushroom burger I had was good

We have dined at The Sloop a few times. Today, the food was good overall, but we were disappointed that they only offered sweet potatoes as an extra. The pigs in blankets were delicious, but unfortunately, they are no longer on the menu. The burger meal and sausages were great. My seafood plate was okay - the scallops were well-cooked but a bit dry. They served simple white baguettes that were not very impressive. I prefer brown bread with grains and seeds. The side salad was also a bit plain. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, but it lacked attention to these details.

Welcome and friendly service throughout the evening. It was a really pleasant night outside. Seafood measure wonderful .
I came here for lunch with some old friends, and the service was excellent. We were greeted right away, and our drink orders were taken promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return!
