What V4314HQdunitronegen doesn't like about Long Johns Fish Chips:
Uninterested staff and poorly cooked, greasy food. The food portion size is a joke compared to what they charge for it, the place is uninviting and cold. The individual cooking was more interested in her paper than she was in what she prepared. When this place was the Oakdale Fisheries it was 1st class… now, you’re better off heading to the Tatnam or to Creekmoor to spend your money. View all feedback. read moreLong John's, formerly Oakdale Fisheries, received mixed reviews from customers. Some complained about small portions and poor quality, while others praised the freshness and taste of the food. Despite negative feedback, some loyal customers still enjoy the fish and chips, especially during busy periods such as Good Friday. The restaurant's decline after changing ownership was a common concern among long-time residents. Despite the division in opinions, many still find Oakdale Fisheries/Long John's to be a satisfying spot for fish and chips in the Poole area.
