A great little sound at the poole quay waterfront. we only thought of a coffee, but in a wonderful piece of carrot cake spoils everyone, generous and delicious. the personal was fast and efficient. the restaurant looked good, with an extensive day special board. toilets were clean, even luxurious. I would strongly recommend it.
Oriel is always a good choice for a dining experience. However, there were a few minor issues during our visit. When we mentioned it was someone's birthday, we were hoping for a simple birthday wish at least. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgement of the occasion. While we didn't expect any freebies, we did end up spending quite a bit. Additionally, the oriental fried dish that was part of the birthday celebration was overly salty, possibly due to an excess of soy sauce. When the waitress inquired about our meal, I mentioned the issue. It was surprising when the same feedback was passed back to the kitchen.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! My partner and I had an amazing dining experience with a stunning view. The food was delicious and catered perfectly to our dietary restrictions (I am lactose intolerant and my partner is a vegetarian). They had a great selection for vegans, even including vegan cake! The staff were friendly, personable, and attentive. The restaurant has a charming and clean ambiance with a relaxed yet comfortable atmosphere.
The vegan menu at this restaurant is fantastic with so many options to choose from. My friend, who is not vegan, found their non-vegan options to be delicious. She particularly enjoyed the hummus, calling it the best she's ever had. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. The food served to other tables also looked amazing. The customer service was excellent.
Popped in here as we didn't fancy a pub meal. More cafe than fancy restaurant but an enjoyable meal all the same. A wide variety of dishes. Only Maria serving when we went on a Wednesday it was busy. Perfect for casual dining people in shorts and jeans.
