I highly recommend the Gin Masterclass. I bought this as a present for my wife and we were both very impressed with the 2hr class. Great gin combinations also includes a meal. Marcus has fantastic knowledge of the subject. Very impressed.

My family love this place and haven’t had a bad experience until we got the bill. Only 4 of us and a 10% service charge was added. This is the second restaurant we’ve been to that’s done this without telling us and saying it’s a management decision and written in the small print. I did find the ‘small’ print on the back of the menu eventually. Why have they started doing this? I know their overheads have probably gone up but that applies to everything at the moment. Trying to get extra money from the customers will just make us unable to afford going out.

This pub is very vegan friendly; plenty of options, and even the drinks are labelled as vegan on the menu. The food and beer was great, but the portions were tiny. I had the Korean tofu to start (not what I asked for, but I didn't think it was worth complaining), and the Sri Lankan curry for the main. Both were nice, but very small portions. I finished my main before the non-vegans I was with had made a dent in their meals, and had to order a dessert, as I was still very hungry. The dessert was lovely (and an adequate size), but it was disappointing to be served such a small main. There was an option to add chicken, which may have made it a reasonably sized meal, but obviously that wasn't an option for me. I feel like they should allow you to choose tofu instead, serve it with a vegan naan, or at least just give you more curry. All in all, great pub, but could have been so much better.

I appreciate the variety of options available at this restaurant, but I find it frustrating that something is always unavailable whenever I visit. Whether it's sold out or simply not on the menu that day, it is disappointing. Despite this issue, I did enjoy everything I was able to try.
