What Sjc997 doesn't like about Boatyard Cafe:
Lazy Jacks is a refreshed restaurant located in a boat yard. Great decor with good food and wine options and sea glimpses. Like most restaurants they are clearly struggling with staff to provide a service standard reflected in the price of their food and drinks. View all feedback. What Bro44 likes about Boatyard Cafe:
Our first visit since it reopened as Lazy Jacks was on a Saturday evening. The place was buzzing with a much younger vibe than before and great new decor. It was warm so we sat out on the deck. Pizzas were excellent. The wait staff were great but my only criticism would be they were a bit run off their feet and could do with some help. As a result service was a little slower than it should be View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a charming locale, this cafe/bar offers a vibrant atmosphere, but recent visits reveal a striking contrast in service and quality. While some guests rave about delightful meals and attentive staff, others lament slow service, forgotten orders, and subpar food, including issues like moldy burgers. Notably, experiences can vary dramatically based on the chef and staff present, influencing diners' enjoyment. Despite some negative interactions, the cafe has potential, especially for casual coffee seekers. Overall, while it presents a promising setting, patrons should brace for inconsistency in food and service, especially during peak times.
