But got there just past 7... read more Been many years ago with lasting good memories, we hoped for a similar experience. Without a booking usually there is a slim chance... But got there just past 7.30pm, and asked for a table... The only available one was inside, on the window overlooking ponza port and bay. So far so good.. Polpo, fiori di zucca, a local fish all'acqua pazza, lentils soup, and scarola later we felt more than satisfied, content by the attentive service, the excellence of each single dish and the lovely surroundings. If you are more than two booking is essential as they tend to do one sitting per table only. If you there, take you time!!

A true experience of fine dining. Well deserved reputation and spot on the Michelin Guide. An absolute must when visiting this gem of an island. Book ahead. Always full!

I personally had a plate with raw fish (crudo di mare) and honestly I did not find it good/qualitative enough for the price paid. The service was ok, but overall the staff was not very friendly.
