What Damiana Testa doesn't like about Centovalli:
I should have known better I've been disappointed here before. The location is excellent and the food is quite good, though rather overpriced. The garden tables are wonderfully shady on a hot summer's day. That's all I can say for it. The service is...brisk to the point of being hectic, giving you the feeling that they'd like to rush you right back out onto the street. I could have done without encountering that haug... The Risotto was the best I ever had my landslide! Both the beef fillet and the special (lamb) were cooked for perfection. The creamy asparagus soup an appetizer was also great. Overall some great food, will definitely come back
We stayed at Albergo for two nights. We were greeted at 10 am in the evening and were greeted with a simple dish, although the kitchen was already closed. We didn't know the restaurant was famous until the next night when we were lucky to get a table. You need to have a reservation for the Trstaurant, otherwise the odds are very slim that you get a table. Thank you for this amazing experience!
Very good, I highly recommend the fillet with risotto, unique risotto, the best.
Risotto al gorgonzola e funghi is always a pleasure! The hospitality and courtesy of the entire team is also worth mentioning! Especially the gesture of the head waiter who readily replaced not only the glass but also the contents free of charge ! , which my wife broke due to a mishap. This restaurant really makes you feel welcome and valued! I give this 110 out of 100 points! We were in the beautiful garden at the beginning of August.
A very fine meal, the best risotto, very fine food, good wine list, very nice service!
