Ivano's Catering - Ponderay

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with a long tradition in the city of Fab Essen, great service and a totally amazing cocktail bar (loved her? Unfortunately, as so many similarly affected restaurants in 2021 they are nearby. It is such a shame and hot on the heels of 41South (closed, so property owners can build condos? Anyway, there is a little rumor that they are able to reorder and find another location. I hope so.

Really pleasant restaurant. Not cheap, but excellent cuisine. The Gazpacho was not much, but well balanced and absolutely worth it. Steamed mussels very well and tries to bring out the vine sauce. Melanzana parmigiana came with a few fantastic sauteed carrots and zucchini that were much better than the non-parmesan-cheese smothered eggplant that was the actual focus of the plate. Ha, sometimes you have to be happy with the serendipitous. Cream brulee was solid. Come here for the pleasant terrace and sit at the well.

EDIT: I change my rating to 4 stars because they deserve it! We tried again, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was hot, fresh and full of taste. We'll go back, based on what we've experienced. There was no taste in food. The watched mushroom appetizer had an acrid taste, as the Marsala wine was either not boiled or a cheap brand. The flour was not cooked enough, and the sauce was simply too thick. It tasted as if it were hurried, and it was a Friday night. The main dishes were bland and without taste. The tortellini sauce was a white sauce, with zero taste, as they started with a white sauce, but forget to put something else in it, hurried again. The basic spaghetti was Bland and not what you expect from this level. The fish dish had tiny bay Scallops, probably from the freezer, and was rubbery. Prices $20 a $40 a plate) were definitely not justified by the quality of food safe. Then to get it from a party of 6 people come with a poodle and they sat right next to us. Yeah, a dog in the restaurant. Now I love dogs, but NOT in an expensive restaurant. Very selfish and the restaurant obviously does not care about its customers to make this possible.

My wife and I ordered to take her during a very busy weekend. they made an exception for us and filled out order. Boy, we're glad they made it! The food was so good. the mushrooms were embellished and beautifully cooked with tons of taste and this sauce made me wish more bread to suck it. The pasta dish we ordered was also very good. The sauce was tasteful and rich, a touch of spices, but not excessive, it was a well balanced dish. The staff was friendly and the take-out service was unforgettable. I imagine her din in service would be even more memorable. We will definitely go back!

Great service, great food and cocktails are tasty and not overly sweet. I would love to get the recipe for the homemade Bordeaux cherries.
