Contribute Feedback What 157DavidM doesn't like about Pizzeria Rosticceria Da Carmine:
The location of this restaurant lets it down and the mixed salad I ordered had no dressing of any sort or olive oil offered. Extremely average but not too bad. The lasagne was ok but nothing to write home about View all feedback.
This place doesn’t look like much but the pizzas are great. We sat outside and had a mix of street food and pizza. All was delicious! Also great value for money.
Situated across the road from the Anfiteatro exit of Pompeii ruins, this little fast street food outlet with a chap handing out pizza slices in paper, with shared benches and tables on the pavement, is fabulous. The deep fried calzone are beyond delicious. One of those with a cold beer is the perfect restorative after a visit to the ruins.
Ok, This proper local Italian Pizza place, which is full of local people. Their pie seems to be unique in terms of its flavor and character. Pie is well done, Cornicione visible but not overblown. I was able to lift whole pie up by its edge, nicely charred/well done. Pie is very tasty one can't fell much salt in it (in a good way) tomatoes from nice thick layer and aren't to soggy. I rally enjoyed anchovies on my pizza as they added this extra salty flavor. I Would like to recommend also fresh marinara by slice.
Calzoni fritti e pizza spettacolare. Gustosissima e morbidissima. Consigliato vivamente
Ottima la pizza fritta, gli arancini e la la pizza con la mozzarella, il gestore è una persona molto gentile, se vai a Pompei è una tappa obbligata...pizza fritta con la scarola... buonissima.
