Stopped past for afternoon coffees and found a great choice of vegan items. I’m not vegan, but friends are. Served with respect and speed. Great coffee and canoli.
We ate several times here while in Pompei. The seafood was light, fresh and cooked to perfection. The pizza was the best we had in all of Pompeii. The limoncello spritz was delicious. Every time we visited we ordered the bruschetta with ricotta and yellow tomato. They must whip their ricotta. It was so incredible smooth. On the last night, we had a little bit of melon cello. We were tempted to extend our trip just to enjoy the melon cello again. The staff was so friendly and kind. We have a photo of one of the staff members. She was so sweet. I failed to get a photo of the younger female staff member. She was also a joy and of course, spoke English so she assisted us in ordering just the right meals each time we were there for dinner.
As our B&B didn’t serve breakfast nor coffee, we ended up at Romeo Peluso’s pasticceria. Much to our luck! Great coffee of course) and a vast selection of little sweet things to choose from. Frankly, we couldn’t withstand the temptation to try more than one, they all look amazing. Staff is very friendly, eager to be of service. We had our coffees and cakes at the bar, and it didn’t cost us more than 5€. And quality is very high.
Lovely resting spot on the square. Staff very friendly and helped with our Italian conversation attempts! The locals seem to love this place and I can see why. Only stayed for a few Peronis and caffe de nonna highly recommended) and some gelato. The aperol spritz is the best in the area too. Can’t rate a meal , but will go back and try for sure
This is a delightful, friendly spot to have breakfast. The Croissants served here are the best I have ever eaten and I eat a lot of croissants). A particular favourite are the warm chocolate croissants, absolutely delicious. The staff are wonderful and were very helpful getting us our hot water and cold milk every morning so we could make a tea! Thank you so much for meeting our needs in such a kind manner. Would highly recommend trying this place if you happen to be in Pompeii.
