Jack's Old Fashioned Hamburger House

The burger was decent—slightly greasy, but full of flavor and a good size. The fries could use some improvement. The restaurant has a trendy vibe and seems to have been updated recently, while still maintaining its original charm.

I had a fantastic burger at a great price. The service was quick and friendly. The burger was juicy, and the fries were fresh and cooked to perfection.

However, before I could take my burger to the table, I noticed something moving on the lettuce. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was a bug. It was such a turnoff; I couldn't help but wonder how thoroughly they were washing their vegetables. I immediately returned to the cashier, who acknowledged the bug and processed my refund without any issues. They suggested I should have spoken to the manager instead.

Jack’s is a staple in Pompano Brach and having been here 50 years it should be a landmark. Their hamburgers/cheeseburgers are some of the best in town and quality is consistent with simple yet delicious taste. They truly are “Old Fashioned Hamburgers” and you can taste the freshness. Their milkshakes are also superb and no trip to Jack’s is complete without a chocolate milkshake. If you want a good, homemade, no frills, fresh cheeseburger the way it’s Supposed to be, head over to Jack’s.

Stopped in for lunch today and this place did not disappoint. Food was fast, fresh and delicious. The two young girls at the counter were very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the fact that you get to customize your cheeseburger as well as the condiment choices on the side, it was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. When it got a little busy a young gentleman from the back came to help and he was also very kind! Great place and worth the price!
