She brings drinks then... read more The server we had was at the host stand. I walk in with a small service animal and she sits us. She then comes and take our drink orders. She brings drinks then she brings bread. She comes back to take our food order. Then she comes back again to say the food will be out shortly. Shortly after she came by to say the animal needed to be on the floor. So one guest heads to the car to get a leash. A gentleman with gloves on comes by and has a rude tone and I let him know the leash is on its way from the car and now I’ve decided to leave from the rude employees not knowing how to be more polite about this matter. In restaurant management I would simply be polite and let guest know our policy. As we go to leave the server is very angered and makes unprofessional remarks then turns to with a spray bottle and sprays the service animal and myself with chemicals. The manager should have told us since he probably told her so she waited til 39 minutes to say something. This is probably a leadership problem. The manager never came by so be careful as the servers here do not care and she basically threatened us on the way out if we god forbid has her in pictures we posted on yelp.

We savored dishes such as the porterhouse steak, pasta, tuna, and lobster. Gluten-free options are offered, however, there is no gluten-free bread or buns available. Whenever we are in the area, we make sure to come back to this restaurant!

Marks restaurant on Federal Hwy and NE 13 St in Ft. Lauderdale, but last night, my foodie cronies decided to try the original J. Marks in Pompano Beach, 1490 NE 23rd St, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 (actually, it is on Copans atthe West end of the Pompano City Center). I remember going there once about 15+ years ago when it opened. Our dinnerexperience was excellent from the atmosphere (already decked out for the Holidays), the very attentive service, and thedelicious food. Always. Besides their wonderful meals, I love their home-baked complimentary hot buns with soft whipped butterthat they put on the table upon sitting down. You can?t just eat one? In fact, I could make a whole meal with just those (nophotos of the buns). Come to think of it, I prefer the layout of the PB locations, but the Ft Laud spot is more convenient forme. Either places, the food is always superb.
