The atmosphere strikes a balance between cozy and stylish, with a charming patio area for outdoor dining. We experienced a brief wait at the simply decorated bar before being seated at a lovely corner table for four inside. To our surprise, the noise level was pleasantly low, contributing to the intimate vibe. The waitstaff was very professional and eager to ensure our satisfaction. Our dinner was perfectly paced, and we never felt rushed. The drinks were generously poured, although a bit on the expensive side, as was the thoughtfully curated wine list. I recommend considering bringing a special bottle of wine for a nominal corkage fee, as we did. The stemware was excellent, enhancing the experience. But let's focus on the food! Standout appetizers included the charred crab cake, ahi tuna, and crispy eggplant with roasted peppers and burrata. The entrees we tried—branzino, seared scallops, chicken schnitzel, and the special duck breast—were all remarkable! While some reviews mention small portion sizes, we did not find this to be the case at all. In fact, we left feeling quite full, having shared a sizable coconut cake that was simply incredible! Chef-owner Matthew Byrne truly deserves all the praise he receives. We wish him continued success—it is well-earned. Don’t miss out on this place! Enjoy your visit! D. Slater, Boca Raton
This is a lovely family restaurant. The owner is friendly, the place is clean, and the prices are reasonable for a homemade, country-style meal.
