But our experience here turned sour when this lady came to s... read more Happy to see the cats and also be invited to eat here by a friendly man who spoke a bit of English. But our experience here turned sour when this lady came to serve us with an attitude and after payment. Attitudes and good listening skills are important especially with customers that do not speak Bulgarian language. FYI Check your receipt before paying and the 2 small toilets wasn’t clean! We had the guy who invited us to come in and eat showing us the 11,90bgn lunch menu and explaining carefully in English. After much consideration, my husband and I decided to sit and eat . This woman with tattoos on the leg was the one who served us and she was very rude. Anyway,we made our choice pointing at what we want boiled beef soup and tarator and second was kebab 3 pieces and potate with pork and then 2 small birra. the only adjustment I asked was if the boiled potatoes with the pork can be replaced with the garlic potatoes instead of the boiled potatoes she won’t allow me to finish and she immediately said yes and asked me bread and I said no and she went away. Food was served: soups came first,2 slices of bread for my husband and a plate of garlic potatoes. After some time,garlic potates with pork came and then the kebab. At which I called the woman who served and told her I think there’s a misunderstanding. I don’t want double portions of potatoes. now,I’m using Google translate she read it and said : ok,surprise surprise and walk away. We didn’t like the soups. The meats and potatoes were good but we ate all not to be disrespectful. But we couldn’t eat the bread and the extra garlic potatoes that came with the pork. My husband took the bread not to be disrespectful again I called the woman that we will like to pay and she came with a price of 48bgn. I paid but realized that it was more than what we should pay for and I asked and she raised her voice so loud infront of other customers ,speaking in Bulgaria. Then one man spoke English I don’t know if he works there or not and I ask if he can help me explain to her because I think there’s miscommunication here. Then he explained that the woman said I ordered something else pointing to the picture. To which I ask if I pointed to that picture when ordering or to that one on the lunch menu. Anyway,the woman continued raising her voice . The man then said he can give me back the extra money I spent ,to which I said it’s not necessary. I just wanted to understand the extra payment and also if he can tell her to listen carefully next time someone that speaks another language is placing an order. This happened when there wasn’t a lot of clients September 21st,2024 at 2:30pm . I wonder how it is when it’s high season. And I understand that work isn’t easy but attitudes and ability to listen is important while working.
