Unfortunately, we only stayed for a weekend, but it was enough time to relax and appreciate the warmth and kindness of the hosts, the comfortable room, and the authenticity of the food served for breakfast. The property's location makes it easy to reach Pisa, Siena, and Volterra, where we also visited the salt mines (I highly recommend it: it's a chance to explore the place where, for 3,000 years, the purest salt in Italy has been extracted and where you can visit the only brewery located inside a salt mine).

Very quiet and with all amenities to relax, swimming pool, spacious and clean rooms. Dinner included made of genuine and well cooked dishes. Very sweet tomatoes of their production as the excellent oil. Only tolerable flaw is the not proper wifi network and in my case even wind or Vodafone did not take. Recommended overall!

It is surrounded by olive groves and woods, fields a... read more L'apparita is a beautiful farmhouse in the municipality of Pomarance shortly after the hamlet San Dalmazio. It is surrounded by olive groves and woods, fields and pastures kissed by the warm Mediterranean sun. The air is faux and dry, rich in aromas of essences such as wild fennel, sage and rosemary. Gino and Silvia have been the owners of this place for decades that is a temple of relaxation and peace, both in the pool as in the woods or among the olive trees, accompanied perhaps by dogs Pepe, Lulù and Maia, or by the cats who live here. The kitchen is simple, but tasty, with garden products and local delicacies. With a stay from Gino and Silvia you will learn the value of time and moments of detachment from the daily tran tran.
