Friendly local place with friendly staff, good food and very very good value. Perfect for a lunch after clogging thru’ the Mont Blanc tunnel queue!
We stayed at the hotel above which was great and we ate in the restaurant below which was this one . My wife had the wild pork and she claimed it was the best dish she had in the three months we have been in Europe I had a small taste and had to concur and will be ordering it tomorrow Great service and good selection of drinks definitely worth a visit for dinner
As we were visiting Acosta nearby, we stayed at the hotel Diana above the restaurant. The menu was simple, with limited choice. We had the tartare and fontina fondue. The food was average and service was professional. I had problems digesting the fondue as it was too heavy. This restaurant was convenient for us, but we think that it is too remote to recommend to anyone not staying at the hotel.
We ate here as we were staying in the Hotel Diana which is above the restaurant. We were looked after by Christian who was friendly, helpful and attentive and who spoke excellent English and French. The menu is very varied and we were spoilt for choice. As it turned out we both had exactly the same which was the fish stuffed ravioli which was delicious and beautifully presented and then the slow cooked pork on apple with chestnut cream. It was superb, cooked to perfection, tasted divine and as before elegantly presented. Because both courses had been so good we decided to have a pudding which was gluttony so we really couldn’t do them justice but my homemade ice cream with berry fruits was lovely as was my husbands apple cake. The chef is truly inspirational and will go far.
