Fantastic the Culatello of their production, delicious all the first traditional and exceptional dishes the frog thighs. On the occasion of the anniversary of my father-in-laws we had lunch in this very well-known place. The food is on the average, nothing left me impressed. Nice welcome, very nice and nice garden. We went to Cavallino Bianco for lunch after a wonderful visit to Villa Verdi. The restaurant is in a very beautiful, rustic setting near the Po river. The food was just spectacular, simple but fresh and incredibly tasty. I had the capon, Verdi style to continue the theme of our day and my wife had a pork dish. All the meats were perfectly cooked and vegetables were wonderful and the risotto with truffles was superb. Service was attentive and thoughtful. The restaurant was crowded, wonderful families of all ages. So think ahead and make reservations to top off a great day.
Absolutely worth it. A bit of a drive from the main cities in the area but it pays off by the food! Can only recommend getting the fixed menu! Depending on the month of the year it might be more or less abundant but if the highest quality. Don’t forget to visit the museum on site
Well presented traditional Italian fare and wine in a very nice dining room away from the main hotel. Quality and presentation of food and service were all excellent
I assume it is a historical place, run by a family for the good of polesina. the place is beautiful, old but well maintained. We ordered the knife game, which is something absolutely sublime. It is a cutting board with a mix of knives at 10, 20 and 30 months of dressing. the first instead, I found delicious peat tortelli (very coherent and tasty a little less the ducks. tris of good cakes (sbrisolona crazy, pumpkin cake ok, a little less the tart of plums). prices in my way of seeing a little high for the first and second, but nothing unmanageable. Anyway, I'm gonna come back because the place is high quality and those whores already miss me!
Sunday lunch with menu entirely dedicated to pumpkin. all great, from soufflé to the first risotto and tortelli, but also the seconds with ****, fried pumpkin, cheek and pumpkin as well. service of the girls in the excellent room, the environment is very cozy and everything is perfectly organized. excellent experience will repeat shortly.
